Jangro is the UK’s largest network of janitorial supply companies. Formed in 1980, Jangro has 42 members providing products and services across England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Isle of Man.
Jangro’s 4,000 product portfolio covers a wide variety of categories including catering, chemicals, equipment and hardware, floor care, washroom hygiene, healthcare/clinical, machines, paper, workwear/PPE.
Its products are segmented into a variety of ranges including Premium, Professional, Enviro and Contract.
Jangro provides full technical specifications for its products alongside information provided by Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (CLP).
Information is available online and also through Jangro’s award-winning mobile app which won the Innovation Award at the 2013 Cleaning Show. The app is an easily accessible source of support material including usage guides and safety compliance to risk assessments and product information.
Jangro offers customers an integrated Learning Management Solution (LMS) to help customers ensure products are used correctly and safely.
There are currently twelve learning modules, available online and classroom based, which cover COSHH, Health and Safety, Colour Coding and Infection Control, Carpet Care, Kitchen Hygiene and Floor Care, Introduction to Equipment, Washroom Hygiene, Housekeeping and an Introduction to Cleaning.
Modules come with a range of COSHH and technical data sheets, risk assessment and product usage guides, animated instructions on everyday tasks and an ‘Ask the expert’ interactive source of information.
